A suggestion about the BP oil spill
Published in enviro.philica.com
As I heard, the operation that pumping mud and cement into the well to stop the BP oil spill has failed. Then, one idea comes to my mind. Why not to mix up mud and Carbonic ice (under a proper pressure) and pump them into the well. If the temperature of the outlet drops to a certain point, the leak will be temporarily stoped. After that, pumping mud and cement may permently stop the spill.
Even if the spill is stoped with other means, should some test this method for later use?
