Observation
The speed of light is a universal constant because it represents the maximum rate at which time is able to distribute new information into the environment (the flow of negative entropy). To see how this is possible, imagine the present as being a standing wave of inertia, momentum and energy, spanning across the normally linear stream of time (in a side view, the x-axis would represent time, the y-axis, energy). If the speed of light is a proxy for the rate of time infusion, then the Planck, and indirectly, the Gravitational constants, represent the ascending slope of the front of this temporal standing wave. Consequently, gravity can be seen as a result of the curved front of this wave, a second-order effect resulting from the stream of time constantly being decelerated into the inertia of the wave front of the material present. Therefore, are the masses and morphologies of the universe a side-effect of the physics of time, or do time and inertia form a universal feedback loop, like a servo control loop that detects momentum changes and then modifies the hidden servo parameters to re-balance the system? Perhaps a more time-centered version of the familiar laws of nature would demonstrate this process.
