In problems involving Solving Equations using Numerical Schemes of Computation, one can pick an Initial Iterative Value Representative of that derived using the Golden Ratio.

For Example, in Newton’s Method, taking x0 such that {f(x0)/f’(x0)} = Golden Ration or {1/Golden Ratio} in the Equation of First Approximation x1=x0-{f(x0)/f’(x0)} and then following the same scheme as in the Newton’s Method, will give us the Accurate Solution in Fewer Steps of Iteration.
